REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR THE 2023-24  SEASON!!!

Step 1:  Obtain a USA hockey member registration number.  Have your credit card ready to pay your USAH membership fee when you register.  Print out your confirmation that shows your registration number.  Then return to this page and proceed to step 2.

USA Hockey Registration fee 

The USA Hockey Registration fees are listed below. The Affiliate fee (if applicable) varies by Affiliate. If a participant plays and coaches, he/she pays only one registration fee.

Step 2:  Register online with BYHA  (this link will take you to the first page of the registration session, please read the instructions carefully and then select continue at the bottom of the page to register your players).  All hockey participants must pre-register online. Or click the "2023-2024  Season Registration" box below. 

The BYHA is offering FREE hockey (No Registration or Ice Fees) all season long for new skaters at the Mite and Mini-Mite Levels.  Skaters must be new to association hockey, with no previous involvement in BYHA or any other youth hockey association.  New Skaters will still be accountable for the USA Hockey Membership Fee noted above and the team slush fund.   

Step 3:  Attend one of the document submission sessions held at the Buffalo Civic Center that is listed below:

Here are the dates for our in-person registration for the 2023-24 Season:

• July 20th from 6-9 pm
• August 13th from 5-8 pm
• October 1st from 11am-2pm (new MITES/minis only)
• JR Gold:  TBD

Any Returning Skaters need to be registered by Sunday, August 13th.

You must also bring the following to the document submission session:

+ Legible copy of government issued birth certificate (if  new to BYHA  or did not skate last year).

+ Payment for registration.  We will invoice you in August.

+ Volunteer deposit  check of $900 per skater, max. of $1200 per family. **These should be postdated 4/15/2024** (If you ONLY have a mini-mite skater, your deposit check would be $300.)

Please note we will be enforcing the late fee again this year (and going forward).  We need the registration items by the second document submission session (Sunday, August 13th, 2023).  If it is not received by then, it is considered late and a $100 late fee will apply.  (For new mite/mini-mites- the deadline is September 30th, 2023).  If you are unable to attend one of the submission sessions, please ensure your documents are in the registration coordinator box at the rink prior to August 13th, 2023.
