Welcome to the Buffalo Youth Hockey Website!

The Buffalo Youth Hockey Association provides hockey education and development programs for students in School District 877 (Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose) and 876 (Annandale).

Help us kick-off the hockey season!


Registration is now open for the 2020 Ice In Open hosted by the Buffalo Youth Hockey Association.


When: Saturday, September 12th

Time: 12:00 - 8:30 PM

Where: Wild Marsh Golf Course


Participants may register to play golf and/or attend the social hour, dinner and silent auction.

Document Turn In Session: Thursday, July 30th from 6-8pm; Saturday, August 15th from 9-12; and (Mite Only) Saturday, October 3rd from 9-12. ***Jr. Gold Dates are still (TBD).

One Goal Registration

The One Goal program is a chance for kids to learn and experience the game of hockey in a fun environment.

Any Returning Skaters need to be registered by Saturday, August 15th.

Buffalo STP Website

The Buffalo STP's mission is to develop and maintain high-end youth and high school hockey programs through individual skill development that benefits a team game. Buffalo STP provides an excellent opportunity for boys and girls to improve their hockey skills, strength, and athleticism in their home community.

Buffalo STP provides community-based individual skill development three times a year:

  • Summer Training Program
  • Fall Clinics
  • Bison Breakfast Club

Buffalo Figure Skating Club

The Buffalo Figure Skating Club is offering Learn to Skate Classes on Saturdays and Tuesdays.

The Velocity Hockey Center is proud to announce that we have opened Registration for our very popular 3 on 3 leagues at both of our locations in Eden Prairie and Osseo/Maple Grove. For the past 13 years we have offered the best 3 on 3 Leagues in the state from all youth levels through High School. Our leagues consist of over 100+ teams each season! This has made our leagues a huge success with many of the top associations from around the metro and northern metro participating. Act fast as our Velocity Leagues fill fast thus you don't want to miss out on this great experience. 2020 3 on 3 Schedule Dates: Session I: Starts in Mid-March Session II: Starts in June

Rink Rat Program

What's the best way to improve your Mite or Mini-Mite's skating ability? Get them extra skating! Join the Rink Rat Program today!

S.C.O.R.E. Program

Skaters. Creating. Opportunities. for Reaching. Excellence. The S.C.O.R.E. Program recognizes skaters that maintained a B or higher grade point average during the hockey season.

All traveling level skaters that submit and meet the requirements are invited to join us for food, cake, open skating, prizes, and a celebration of a job well done! 


Submit Your Report Card

S.C.O.R.E (Skaters Creating Opportunities for Reaching Excellence) is an educational achievement program that recognizes student-athletes who achieve a 3.0 minimum GPA during the hockey season. 

Grades MUST be submitted by 11:30 pm to by February 27th so gifts can be ordered, certificates can be printed, and food can be decided.

T.E.A.M. Program

T.E.A.M. before ice project is an effort to encourage positive behavior towards every team member at all times.

 When your warm-ups/spirit wear orders are completed, you will receive an email from Dave’s Sport notifying you that your order has been ready. After you receive this message, give us 2-3 days to get your warm-ups picked up and brought to the arena’s Pro Shop.
